Benchmarking Materials Emissions for Low-Rising Housing

Using a consistent accounting methodology, Passive Buildings Canada and partners quantified the embodied carbon emissions of materials used in the construction of residential buildings in the GTHA. This comprehensive data set is intended to guide municipalities in the development of low-carbon building policies and regulations, and to inform material selections made by building industry professionals.
