Accelerating MHDV charging infrastructure investment and deployment: making the case to the provincial government and regulatory authorities

The project aims to engage with Ontario electricity regulators and the provincial government to enact key recommendations to accelerate the deployment of Medium- and Heavy- Duty Vehicles (MHDV) charging infrastructure in the GTHA, including innovative electricity pricing strategies, expedited approval and permitting processes, and policies that support fleet electrification through a phased approach to investment by vehicle class and vocation.
