Communications Campaign for Hybrid Heating Systems and Heat Pumps in the GTHA

Installation of heat pumps, including hybrid heating, play a crucial role in cutting carbon emissions from buildings in the GTHA. Through this grant, Toronto Region and Conservation Authority will address the lack of data specifically on hybrid heating system performance and the lack of awareness of the technology among homeowners, contractors, energy advisors, and municipalities. Project outcomes will be achieved by tracking the pilot program, developing case studies, and communicating findings to potential users of the technology.
