Commercialization of a novel process for recycling end-of-life rare earth magnets for re-use in electric vehicles and wind turbines

Working with Canadian Shield Capital, “Project Uncommon” helped develop the Noveon Magnetics recycling facility. Their magnet recycling process saves 11 tonnes of carbon emissions for every tonne of NdFeB magnets, a key component in electric vehicles.

This investment had strong alignment with TAF’s investment criteria as catalytic climate solution supporting a circular economy.
