BEE-Cal Policy Calculator

May 2017. The Building Energy Efficiency Policy Calculator (BEE-Cal for short) is an Excel-based tool that estimates the energy reductions, emission reductions, and associated benefits resulting from municipal policies that target energy consumption in buildings. It provides a preliminary impact assessment of the various city-level building energy efficiency policy options based on an embedded database of carbon emission inventories for hundreds of municipalities across Canada. In addition to municipal policymakers and planners, the BEE-Cal also provides a fast way to analyze and compare policy options for community and advocacy groups. Please note that the BEE-Cal only works on Windows computers.
